Are you a healthcare professional, veteran, law enforcement officer, educator, or faith leader? Do you have expertise in campaign or nonprofit management? Then join us. We need you.

Formed in the aftermath of the Mother Emmanuel AME shooting, Brady South Carolina began a community education campaign to empower citizens to demand sensible solutions to the gun violence crisis. Since then, our State Executive Committee has focused on constituent mobilization and citizen lobbying.

In 2019, Brady reorganized to form the Brady State Executive Committee where our theory of change emphasizes the facilitation of influential community voices.

Our grassroots-up approach empowers communities to plan and implement local, state, and federal initiatives to reduce gun violence with the backing of a national organization.

But we can't do it without the passionate support of smart, strategic South Carolinians at the helm. If you are a community organizer, healthcare professional, faith leader, educator, member of law enforcement or a veteran, we need your help. And if you are none of the above but want to learn how to run community campaigns or help us to educate people in your community, please join us.
