A Midlands Technical College student has agreed to plead guilty to possessing more than 90 stolen guns as part of a lenient plea deal that will likely see him serve between three and five years, minus the time he's already served since his arrest in May 2020. The guns in question include five assault rifles that had been converted with bump stocks to give continuous fire and qualified as machine guns, according a complaint in the case.

He arrest came as a result of an 18 month investigation during which law enforcement observed the defendant conducting internet searches on mass shootings in Texas and South Carolina. Click here for the entire story.
