5 UPS employees were arrested for stealing firearms from the company's shipping hub in West Columbia. The employees, all in their teens, have been charged with breach of trust.
The men stole the guns from the shipping warehouse then sold them while on the clock.
A 2018 report by The Trace found an increasing number of guns stolen from UPS are being found at crime scenes. UPS and FedEx allow the shipping of guns, while the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) does not.
